+++ Pandemic Update - March 2021 +++
We are well positioned regarding isolation and the studio is self-contained with its own entrance so it is not difficult to comply with the current
pandemic precautions. Pubs, cafes and restaurants are not yet open but it is possible to get takeaway meals. However the studio has a kitchenette with a
small oven with hobs, fridge and a microwave so with a few supplies (grouse, caviar, champagne) it is possible to live independently and very nicely.

The fully self-contained studio has a double bed, compact bathroom with bath and WC and a kitchenette. A couple can stay very comfortably here and although simple meals can be prepared we are very close to the pub, the Pig on the Beach, the middle beach cafe and the Old Harry Bar (delicious late night pizzas) all within easy walking distance and farther afield there is the Knoll House Bistro and the Shell Bay Cafe. A comprehensive range of supplies including a range of local meats is available at the Village Shop - The Studland Stores.
The Studio shares the back door into the scullery with the house but is otherwise entirely separate and you will have free access all day and night. While the garden is private there is plenty of parking here outside the house and you will have free access to the beach steps that come out onto the South Beach just a few yards along from Joe's Cafe.
The alternate tread stairs are a little steep and narrow (see pictures) which precludes young children, pets and large luggage. We only provide tea and coffee so you will have to bring supplies with you.
The studio has clear views over the garden but not the sea, however as soon as you walk out of the door you are faced with the panoramic view over the bay and, weather depending, it is very pleasant to have sundowners in the sunken garden with the best view over the bay.

The rate is £120 per night for a couple plus a one off cleaning fee of £45.
